ax-lightness ULTRA 30C Disc Ceramic – The lightweight climber with full ULTRA technology
The ULTRA 30C Disc Ceramic is the uncompromising choice for riders who feel every gram on the climb. With a shallow 30 mm profile, 28 mm external width, and 21 mm internal rim width, it is optimized for road bike tires from 25 to 32 mm and delivers an especially lively, direct ride feel with low rotational inertia. The total weight of 1,050 grams (including tubeless rim tape, ± 5 %) makes it the ideal racer for mountainous stages and demanding race courses. The approved system weight is 115 kg.
The wind tunnel-optimized design combines a bulbous rim shape for crosswind stability with a profile that balances weight and aerodynamics in a meaningful way. The 20 carbon bladed spokes per wheel, laced in a 2-cross pattern, transfer every acceleration directly and without loss to the road – with high lateral and torsional stiffness that shows no weakness even during hard out-of-the-saddle sprints.
The in-house ax-lightness ULTRA disc hubs with ratchet freehub system and ceramic bearings minimize rolling resistance to the limits of technical possibility. The glossy RAW UD finish with subtle white or black decals (two design options available) gives the wheelset an elegant and understated appearance. Proven in racing with the Continental Team BENOTTI Berthold.
